Stroll out to the terrace and breathe in the fresh air while looking at the boats pass by in the canal or spend some relaxing time in your Casita’s pool.

When you're ready for breakfast:

  • Green Turtle’s oversized sticky buns can be a delightful alternative.

  • At lunch time:
  • Robbie’s of Islamorada — home of the world-famous tarpon feeding! — offers an interesting mix of a market, restaurant and marina. or,
  • Visit Casa Mar Fish Market in Tavenier for fresh catch-of-the-day delicacies.
  • Stop by Lobster Shack and grab a couple of lobster tails to bring back to your home-away-from-home to cook amazing paella at our fully equipped kitchen (including paella pan!)

  • For a relaxed afternoon and evening:
    Walk—or ride one of our bikes—to White Marlin (private beach) and stay and experience the most breathtaking sunsets.
    You can end this perfect day by visiting one of the top local steak restaurants, Ziggie & Mad Dog's.

The Outdoor Enthusiast

Catch your dinner! charter a day of deep-sea-fishing with Captain Kenny (Caribsea) — head out at 7am and be back by 3-4pm.

Relax by the pool at your Casita while reserving your dinner table at one of the local “cook-your-catch” restaurants (Kaiyo Grill or Habanos) where they will cook your catch-of-the-day to perfection.

Bring your boat or rent one at a local marina. Each Casita's private dock will give you access to come and go as you please. Visit the sand-bars and historic islands off the coast of Islamorada or go snorkel diving at the spectacular Alligator reef. Don't miss the Full Moon party at Morada Bay!

Visit one of the local art festivas (Art Under the Oaks or Island-fest), stop for a lobster roll (florida style) at What the Fish Roll, spend the rest of the afternoon by the pool/grill (take a short walk to Lobster Walk for fresh live lobsters!

As the day comes to an end, come back and soak in your private pool while you share all your stories…

The Explorer

Take a short drive to Marathon and stop for a great bagel at Marathon Bagel Co).
To learn about the great efforts to conserve the keys ecosystem you must visit The Turtle Hospital. The Turtle Hospital is a small non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles.
On your way back to Islamorada, stop at Hawks Cay Dolphin Connection (appointment required) and swim with the dolphins!
Visit Theater of Sea to learn more about native and local ecosystems and fauna.
For an ecological experience visit the various parks the keys have to offer like John Pennekamp in Key Largo.
